I just had to share this happy snap - the local school in our area opens their sporting program to homeschoolers, and King Arthur has joined them this summer for mini-cricket.
After scoring his uniform for a mere 25R at the thrift shop, he put it on as soon as we got home - literally, got out the car, ran through the front door and put it on. He then wore it every day for four days! He had such fun at their first practice, in spite of being somewhat out of his depth with the skill level, and can't wait for the next practice.
I'm also deeply thankful that I am married to a man who takes an interest in his children and their sport - last night Braveheart coached both boys a little (and Belle chipped in too!). Fathers have such an incredible impact on children - so deeply grateful for the positive influence Braveheart has on our children.
