I think I may have figured something out this week - if we want to get Art done, I have to be deliberate and very pro-active in making it happen, as it is not something that comes naturally to me. I have been wanting to make this ocean diorama craft for weeks, and finally blocked out an afternoon and set to work!

First we painted (that's Belle having a ball trying to rinse off her feet before going back in the house!). The boxes we picked up from Rodgers, our local greengrocer.

Then we made our jelly fish egg box cartons, and we stapled streamer tentacles inside and glued on googgly eyes. The fish and the coral were printed off this site (they have black and white versions too), although King Arthur spent some time making his own coral out of pipe cleaners. (And note to self - put the sand on the bottom AFTER you've stuck everything down, like the instructions said - there's a reason!!!!)
